GAC Trumpchi GS4

The GAC Trumpchi GS4 is positioned as an “International New-Style SUV” and was officially launched on April 18, 2015, with a total of 8 models introduced. On June 16, 2017, the GAC Trumpchi GS4 PHEV model was officially launched, featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain system composed of a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine and G-MC electric coupling system.

On November 15, 2019, the world’s first production car equipped with WeChat Car Edition was launched in Guangzhou. It is the second-generation GAC Trumpchi GS4, built on the new GAC platform modular architecture GPMA. The new car achieved five breakthroughs in appearance, comfort, driving control, safety, and smart connectivity, with a total of 9 versions released. The gasoline version of the car has a fuel consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers, while the hybrid version’s fuel consumption is as low as 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers. The parts commonality rate reaches 50%, meeting strict global safety standards and emission regulations, and is equipped with the ADiGO intelligent connectivity system and automatic driving system.

In terms of exterior design, the second generation GAC GS4 adopts the latest “Lingyun Wing 3.0” design language, enhancing the visual impact of the Lingyun Wing front face layout. The front grille integrates seamlessly with the headlights, giving the vehicle a more imposing presence and increased recognition. The front headlights feature a dual-module LED design complemented by a fragmented diamond array turn signal, exuding a sense of dynamic technology.

Regarding space, the vehicle boasts a wheelbase of 2680 mm, offering the widest cabin space in its class, along with an elevated rear flat floor, ensuring every passenger enjoys ample comfort.

Inspired by the X-shaped element, the interior is equipped with dual 12.3-inch high-definition screens, adopting a diamond cockpit concept, race-inspired seats, and premium materials to create a distinctive interior. The second generation GAC GS4 aims to create a “Five-sense Comfort Cabin,” enhancing the driving experience from visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, and experiential perspectives.

The powertrain features a third-generation 270T 1.5T high-power engine paired with a new Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum power of 124 kW and peak torque of 265 N·m. Utilizing GCCS combustion control patented technology, it achieves a class-leading fuel consumption of 6.8L/100km, striking a balance between high performance and low fuel consumption.
