Roewe D7

The Roewe D7 is a mid-to-high-end sedan launched by Roewe. The Roewe D7 EV is the first mid-to-high-end all-electric sedan born on SAIC Group’s Nebula dedicated electric system platform. The D7 DMH is positioned as a new mid-to-high-end plug-in hybrid sedan, equipped with the new DMH dual-motor hybrid system, and the overall CLTC comprehensive range can reach up to 1400km.

The Roewe D7 EV features a new brand electrification design language on the front face, distinguishing it from the existing Roewe lineup and giving it a more distinctive appearance. Specifically, the car adopts slim lamp design, a closed grille, and a design element on the lower bumper, giving it a high-tech look. On the side, the D7 EV is equipped with hidden door handles and aerodynamically styled wheels, giving it a sporty appearance. At the rear, the car features slim taillights and a slightly upturned small ducktail design on the edge of the trunk. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4890mm in length, 1872mm in width, 1510mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2810mm.

The Roewe D7 EV is powered by a VGA six-in-one electric drive system, delivering a maximum power of 155 kW. It offers a CLTC comprehensive range of up to 610 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

The Roewe D7 EV is equipped with Ningde Amperex Technology’s Magic Square batteries, which feature a flat-cell design. These batteries not only pass rigorous tests such as the double-needle puncture test to prevent thermal runaway but also possess a high energy density.

As for the interior, the D7 EV features a Cloud Accommodation cabin design, providing a high-end, comfortable, and cozy environment for both the driver and passengers. The Cloud Accommodation seats are upholstered in premium perforated suede material, and the front seats (including the lumbar region) offer one-touch heating and a reclining function. The driver’s seat is equipped with 10-way power adjustment, ventilation, and memory functions. The square-shaped rear space provides ample legroom with 933 mm of rear legroom and 116 mm of rear knee space, ensuring the necessary comfort expected in a mid-to-high-end sedan.

The DMH hybrid system incorporates a dedicated hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency exceeding 43%, resulting in a low CLTC fuel consumption of 4.3L/100km.
